53-72 days to mature. Thick round meaty 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 inch pods, can be snapped like green beans or left on vine until 5-7 medium green peas mature. Strings at full maturity, 48-72 inch vines need support, frost resistant. Freezes well, cannot stand the heat of canning.
