50-75 days to mature. Cylindra is a long smooth dark red beet averaging 6-8 inches by 1.5-2 inches excellent for uniform slicing. Interior flesh is dark-red, free from rings, sweet and easy to peel. Roots grow almost entirely underground with small reddish-green tops.
